Retrofitting equipment in an existing building requires a set of skills that can only be obtained through experience.

Our project managers ask many questions when looking at an equipment replacement including:

• What energy source should be used?
• Is there space available to allow for future servicing of the equipment?
• Can the existing equipment be modernized or should it be replaced?
• Is the existing control system meeting the requirements?
• How long is the building going to exist in its current usage?
• What are the operating hours of the system?
• How can I get the equipment into place?
• How are we going to do the utility connections with the least disruption to the occupants?
• Has the space usage changed creating a need for larger or smaller capacities?
• Are there innovative ways to finance the project?

Over the years we have performed hundreds of equipment and system retrofits providing maximum value to the owner.

Our design/construction team evaluates the project and a plan is developed to ensure the installation is done on budget and with a minimum amount of disruption to the building occupants.
